Top 3 Simple Floral Card Designs

Last week I posted a fun and easy flower design. This time I wanted to share three of my top designs for flower-themed cards. These are simple and quick to make.

1.  Tissue Paper Flowers

This is a very fun and simple design that can be made for any occasion. All you need is tissue paper for the flowers and a marker for the stems. For this card, I added some twine tied in a bow as a fun accessory. You can pick many different colors to coordinate with the colored or patterned cardstock. You can also do individual flowers instead of bouquets. Doesn’t take any more than a few minutes to make one.

2. Ribbon Flower

This one is also a fairly simple design but it does take a little more time than the previous design. You can use any length of ribbon for this. It all depends on how big you want the flower. To make this, I used 4 pieces of ribbon at 14 inches long each. I then glued the ends of each piece and overlapped them all together. You can use any color of ribbon but I do recommend a thicker kind so the hot glue won’t bleed through. To top it off, I used a small pearl in the center.

3. Petals on a String

This is a fun and quick design. I used some flowers I pulled off of a fake bouquet I bought from the dollar store and strung it together with blue twine. I then centered each flower with a pearl. You can use any kind of flower but be sure that it is on the small side. You also don’t have to feel limited with just twine. You can use string, yarn, or ribbon for this design but be sure that you can string it through the flowers without ripping it. This design can be used for any occasion, I just happen to make a thank you card.
