What’s In My Craft Bag?

These are some materials that I have in my bag at all times. I always make sure I keep them in stock and ready to use.

Cardstock. This is a really big thing for me. I use cardstock for a lot of different projects. As the body and decorative pieces of a card.

Glue. My glue gun is always stocked with glue stick refills and I always have a regular glue stick in my bag. You can’t really make a card without them.

Ribbon. This is very recent. I received a few different kinds of ribbons as a gift and I’ve seen how just adding a ribbon to a seemingly plain card gives it a simple and elegant look.

Twine. For similar reasons, I can add accents to cards giving a fun rustic look. It is usually my go to for accents.

Stickers! You can find stickers for everything really. They make my life easier and can add fun details to your card designs.

Markers, pens, and other writing tools. I don’t use these a lot but it is useful to have them on hand. Either to add details or o help outlining the design.

Cutting tools. I have scissors (obviously) and a couple of hole punches. These hole punches are useful for when I need something more precise or if I am short on time.

These are some of my go-to materials when I am making a card. Some you haven’t seen me use before and mostly it is because I prefer do cut these freehand and I am not very experienced in using ribbons. I’m learning as I go and I hope I’ll be able to show you some more fun designs with these in the future.
