So a couple of weeks ago I went to a baby shower with my mom. It was for this really sweet gal in my neighborhood. She is always so happy and you can’t help but smile along with her. I was really stumped what to do for this card because I could picture what I wanted but actually putting on paper was difficult. It turned out really cute so I’m glad.
So I didn’t use a lot, material wise. The most tricky were the stork and the bundle. The stork’s legs were giving me a hard time for some reason. I sketched out the stork before hand and I probably redid the legs almost 4 times! After that, the bundle was next. I could picture in my head what I wanted it to look like, but getting the ribbon to do it was a little bit of a challenge. I only used a few inches of ribbon and my fingers were fumbling the whole time. I added a little pearl to it as a button. Overall, it ended up really cute. Now that I look at it, I wish I reworked the lettering but all in all, I still love it.
