So this is very late. I wanted this up the day of but things happened. This is the card I made for Mother’s Day. Obviously. It’s actually pretty big.

So I used this fun new card stick I got recently that has fun circle patterns. The front had the pink circles with some fun flowers I got in a bouquet from the dollar store. I also recently got these huge pearls. They had an adhesive side and the package said it would be fine even on fabric but they fell off after a day so I used hot glue to keep them on.

The inside was done with cardstock from the same book as the outside just a different color and then I added a strip of the pink circles to tie it in. I used gold stickers to write out mother’s day. This cardstock was a little thicker than what I usually work with so the glue work was a little rough. Overall I think I did a very good job.
My brothers and I cleaned the kitchen, tidied up the living room, and my brother made this really yummy potato soup with cheese, bacon, green onion, and sour cream! We had these rolls on the side and had it all set on the dining table waiting for my mom to come home from work. She absolutely loved it! She actually thought we forgot about Mother’s Day. I guess I don’t blame her. I did leave for work at like 6 am and my brothers slept in when she went to work. So this was a nice surprise for her. I’m glad we were able to do that for her.
I would love to hear what your favorite Mother’s Day memory is and see any cards you’ve made!
