So I made this card for my dad in June for father’s day. It’s pretty simple. The bow tie is made up of two different ribbons. It took me way too many times to admit I tried to do the bow in the blue before it hit me to do double. It just looks way better and made forming it way easier.
I figured the lettering would keep it simple and elegant and to the point. That is kind of how my dad tries to be so there we go. On the inside, I put down a slightly smaller square cardstock so it would be bordered by the black body. That isn’t pictured here but I’m sure you get the idea.
My brothers and I took my dad to this new Mexican restaurant (he loves Mexican food) and it was a hit. Big plates, big portions, and a lot of spice.
