Hello! It has been a while and I promised this on Instagram a couple weeks ago. Life got busy and the next thing I know, it’s May. So, here it is in all it’s cuteness!
So, this is a shaker card. I was doing a baby shower card for a friend of mine, and while trying to think of ideas, I thought back to my last baby shower card. I loved drawing that elephant so much, I wanted to do it again but mix it up a little. I then remember that fun video from YouTube. If any of you haven’t checked out It’sMeJD, you are missing out. She has fantastic ideas that are easy and affordable! I specifically got this idea from your shaker card video.
Of course, I used my favorite books for my card stock, Colorbok. I made it a bit too simple on the sentiment, but I think it worked out in the end. The glitter was super fun, and I kept shaking it over and over again. I took my elephant from my last post and used it here. Just changed it a little with the umbrella. Other than that, it’s a simple card.
Making it a shaker was a little hard though. I kept messing up and how to put the card stock on the back and had to do over. But You can see my mistakes luckily! It is on the thicker side because I was trying to hide those mistakes, but you can’t notice unless I point it out.
Well, I hope that was worth the wait. I’ve been posting a little more on Instagram. So, check that out for the smaller projects. Here to hoping I get to a semi regular posting schedule.
